Visit the Mac App Store to download Office applications. Install on a Mac – Office 365 applications can be downloaded directly from the Mac App Store, or the Office Portal. Complete the steps in the wizard to finish activating Office. Note: The Activation Wizard appears if Office has trouble activating. 
In this case, just use the same email and password that you used to sign in to earlier in this process. You may also be asked to sign in with your UA Work or School Microsoft Account again.
When the Office app opens, accept the license agreement. To open the Office app, select its icon in the search results. To open an Office app, select the Start button (lower-left corner of your screen) and type the name of an Office app, like Word. Your install is finished when you see the phrase, “You’re all set! Office is installed now”and an animation plays to show you where to find Office applications on your computer. If you see the User Account Control prompt that says, Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?select Yes. Depending on your browser, select Run(in Edge or Internet Explorer), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File (in Firefox). In this case, the 32-bit version of Office will be installed instead. The 64-bit version is installed by default unless Office detects you already have a 32-bit version of Office (or a stand-alone Office app such as Project or Visio) installed. Tip: This process automatically chooses the best version of Office to install for your system, based on a few factors. To complete the installation, follow the prompts in the “Install Office” section below. This completes the download of Office to your device. Select ‘Office 365 Apps’ to begin the installation. After signing in, click ‘Install Office’ near the top right of the welcome screen. Sign in with your email address and password (E.g., Aliases, like won’t work. Go to if you’re not already signed in, select Sign in. Visit the Office Portal and Sign in to Download Office Tip: If you are having trouble, use the Office Support and Recovery Assistant to uninstall Office. Follow the prompts to complete the uninstall. 
Select Programs > Programs and Features, then right-click your Microsoft Office product, and choose Uninstall.In the search box on the task bar, type control panel, then select Control Panel.For the best results, you will need to uninstall Office 2016 or earlier before proceeding.
